Product Description The Bell Slant Fusion Sport Bike Helmet is constructed with a fusion in-mold microshell, which utilizes the process of bonding the helmet's microshell to its EPS foam layer, rather than forming the two separately and taping them together later, to provide a sturdier, more solid helmet. This helmet features Bell's ErgoDial fit system to deliver an easy one-hand adjustment with the press of a button and slide of the dial for a firm, snug and comfortable stability. The Slant also features a removable blade visor, and cam-lock levers that make it easy to adjust the straps around your ears. For your comfort, this bicycle helmet includes 21 channeled vents that are specially designed to force cool, fresh air in through the front and around your head, while flushing warm air out of the rear ports. The Slant helmet comes in Bell's Universal Adult size (54-61cm), weighs 300 grams, and complies with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission's safety standards for bicycle helmets. Helmet Tips--You Should Always... - Wear a helmet when you ride
- Wear your helmet low in the front to protect the forehead
- Fasten your buckle and tighten your chin strap
- Check your adjustments every time you wear your helmet
- Inspect your helmet regularly for signs of wear or damage
- Wear a helmet designed for your activity

Just right February 8, 2008 R. Ross (Fort Myers, FL) 14 out of 14 found this review helpful
I am very happy with this helmet. It took less than 5 minutes of initial adjustments to the straps. I REALLY like the adjustment dial. Put it on your head and simply turn the dial until it tightens and fits adequetly.
I do not even notice wearing it while cycling.
Between the two major head shapes (oval and round), my head is slightly more toward oval. I found that Bell helmets fit oval shapes better than the Giro which is better for round heads.
Also checkout the Consumer Reports Magazine review for bike helmets. The Bell Slant made it on their recommendation list.
Love the helmet and would recommend it.

Good Fit June 27, 2008 LA Fundraiser (Los Angeles, CA) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
Returning to bike riding after ten years a new bike helmet was in order. After reading reviews in various places the Bell Slant was my choice. Ease of adjustment for a good fit and reasonable appearance were important considerations. The helmet has met both needs. Therefore I have been wearing it on my weekend rides. It is comfortable, secure and does not require constant adjustment as did helmets of years ago. For the price it even looks fine.

Had a spill 2 days ago while wearing this helmet.
I hit the road hard and tore myself up. The helmet cracked (like it's supposed to) and I walked away. What more can be said?
I have a large head and this one fit comfortably after trying on numerous "one size fits all". Its a stylish helmet and has plenty of ventilation.
Highly recommended. I will be purchasing a new one immediately.
Bell has a replacement program for helmets that are damaged in a crash. I'll look into that and so should you if you damage yours in a wreck.
Absolutely always wear a helmet. Wear it properly fitted as well. Even if you are not a speed daemon like me it's so easy to fall and you will need all the protection you can get. Most people ride on the road and I can tell you from experience it is hard and unforgiving. Your head is your weak spot so protect it!!!!

You can't go wrong with this helmet. It is a very comfortable helmet, and the price is right. This Bell product is much better than my Trek helmet.
